Retail trade turnover grows by 4% in Romania
The retail trade turnover in Romania, except of cars and motorcycles, increased by 4.3% in the first four months of the year compared to the same period in 2014.
The growth was due to the 9.4% increase in the sales of food, beverages and tobacco, and to the 6.8% rise in fuel retail trade in specialized stores. The sale of non-food products dropped by 0.9%.
In April, the retail trade turnover increased by 7.1% both year-on-year and month-on-month.
