The famous 70s Italian pop band Ricchi e Poveri will perform in Romania on February 26, at the Palace Hall (Sala Palatului), starting 20:00. The band, set up in 1967 by Franco Gatti, Angela Brambati, Angelo Sotgiu and Marina Occhiena, became famous in the 70s after participating in the Sanremo Music Festival and representing Italy at Eurovision.

The band are currently Franco Gatti, Angela Brambati, Angelo Sotgiu, as Occhiena left the group in 1981.

Ricchi e Poveri became successful and sold over 20 million album copies, and are known for songs such as Mamma Maria, Se m'innamoro, Made in Italy, M'innamoro di te and Che sarà.
