More than half of RO companies expect slow recovery
More than half of the companies in Romania (55%) assess the situation generated by the coronavirus pandemic as having the potential to become disastrous ("critical" and "very critical").
Over a third of them (37%) estimate that the recovery period will range from 12 to 24 months.
According to a study conducted by local consultancy firm Valoria, out of the total of 440 companies surveyed, 41% believe that things will evolve extremely unfavorably in Romania in the next months of this year.
Thus, 29% of the managers estimate the recovery period at 9-12 months, while 37% believe their companies will need 1-2 years to recover.
In this context, the responding companies consider that the executive team's skills that need to be improved are those related to decision-making strategies in crisis situations (79%), financial management in the context of crisis (75%), and remote team management (71%).
