Road movies and dance shows at ShortsUP event this spring
A new edition of ShortsUP, the event that promotes some of the most important short movies around the world, will be organized at the National Opera in Bucharest on April 6, 2012, 22:00, according to the organizers.
The event’s themes this year are road movies and break-dancing - two champions from dance competition Red Bull BC One, Roxrite and Ronnie will appear. Moreover, a jazz band will perform live. Some of the road movies to be screened are ‘Tooty’s Wedding’, directed by Fred Casella, and ‘The Road Home’ directed by Rahul Gandotra.
Tickets cost RON 25 if purchased in advance from Diverta, Vodafone, and Germanos stores, Carturesti and Mihai Eminescu bookshops, and Sala Palatului, or RON 35, on the door.
