Romania and Hungary photo exhibition in London
A photo exhibition depicting the post communist realities in Romania and its neighbor Hungary will open this week in London.
The exhibition, signed by press photographer Tamas Dezso, will open on April 17 at the Photographers' Gallery.
For the Romania pictures, the photographer observed everything as a spectator, he said. For Hungary, however, she has seen everything from the inside: the poverty which cripples half of the country, the activity of a populist government which steers away from European values, and new-nazi movements, which appear with fresh forces, he added.
Tamas Dezso’s long-term projects focus on the margins of society in Hungary, Romania, and other parts of Eastern Europe.
