After 15 years of activity on the IT services market, Romania-based iQuest recently reported a turnover of EUR 22 million for 2012 and a team of 500 IT specialists in its 10 centers in Romania, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary and the US.

In the last five years, iQuest has recorded a steady annual growth rate of 20 -25 percent in the number of employees and for the upcoming 3-4 years the company hopes to maintain the same level of growth.

“The evolution in the number of employees within iQuest was linear and consistent with the needs of our customers,” said Cornelius Brody (in picture), CEO and founder of iQuest. Before founding iQuest, Cornelius (48) was a management consultant with Cap Gemini, his last position being Managing Director, Romania. After several years working in Germany, he came back to Romania and started the business.

According to the company’s representatives, around 91 percent of the company’s business is conducted on the international market, while the local market accounted for the remaining 9 percent of iQuest’s business. High levels of growth are expected for both components, according to the company.

Some of the company’s international clients are Vodafone, Ikea, Microsoft, Roche, while from the local market, the company’s portfolio includes Banca Transilvania and Aegon.

In Romania, the company has centers in Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Craiova, Brasov and Bucharest and is one of the founding members of the Cluj IT Cluster, the first IT Romanian Cluster.
