Romania, the biggest market in the region for Chinese router producer

Chinese network equipment producer TP-Link has sold 600,000 routers in Romania this year. The company has a market share of 65%, according to its estimates.

The Chinese firm has delivered this year 1.1 million routers and wireless adaptors through the regional division that serves Romania and another six countries in the region. Romania is the largest market in the region for the Chinese company, with 55% of the products being delivered on the local market, reports local Capital.ro.

The total wireless routers market is estimated by TP-Link at about 950,000 units, 600,000 of which are delivered by the Chinese producer.

TP-Link launched on November 26 a new wireless router with touchscreen display, which is easier to configure by household users.
