Romania’s Interior Ministry will contribute to the EU effort to manage the refugee crisis in Greece by sending 70 policemen, six trucks, two patrol ship, and other logistical resources there.

It is the third most significant contribution after those made by Germany and France, said the Interior Minister Petre Toba.

Romania will provide 60 border police and ten experts in asylum procedures. They will be deployed in Greece this week. Germany and France will send up to 600 policemen and asylums exports in Greece.

On Friday, the EU concluded an agreement with Turkey to send back refugees.
