Romania will be under Code Yellow for storms on Monday until Tuesday morning (August 27 and 28 ), when temperatures will be significantly lower and the wind will intensify.

The cooler weather comes after a new week of extremely high temperatures and Code Red for heat across Romania, with temperatures exceeding 41 ° Celsius in some areas of the country.

Heavy rainfall is expected, as well as short rain showers, while in some areas, rain will exceed 30 litres per sqm. It will also hail in some areas of the country, according to Romania's Meteorology Administration.
