Romania exports more clothes and accessories
Romania’s clothing and accessories exports totaled EUR 892 million in the first four months of the year, up by 0.5% year-on-year. The imports reached EUR 343 million in the same period, up by 12.8% compared to the first four months in 2014.
The clothing and accessories exports peaked in March, reaching EUR 236 million, whereas the imports amounted to EUR 99 million in March, reports local Agerpres.
Over 136,000 people worked in the clothing production sector at the end of April, and the average net wage amounted to EUR 258.
