Romania gets over EUR 300 mln from Norway for eco technologies and green businesses
Norway will offer Romania EUR 306 million in non-reimbursable funding between 2012 and 2014 for companies that use non-polluting technologies. The program aims to reduce the waste production and emissions in the soil, air and water, while increasing business opportunities for creating a better environment.
It also hopes to improve the use of eco-friendly technologies and create more jobs in the green business and entrepreneurship areas.
Romania's Economy Ministry officials will meet the Innovation Norway representatives on Wednesday ( June 6 ) to establish the sectors where the funds will be invested.
