Romania has its highest trade surplus with the UK
Romania recorded its biggest trade surplus with the United Kingdom between January and October 2015. The balance amounted to EUR 709.3 million.
Romania also recorded a surplus with Egypt, which totaled EUR 532 million. The surplus with Algeria ranked third, amounting to EUR 349 million.
The trade surplus with the US came next, with EUR 328.1 million, followed by with Saudi Arabia, with EUR 298.8 million.
Romania recorded its biggest trade deficits with China (EUR 1.9 billion), Hungary (EUR 1.7 billion), and Poland (EUR 1.3 billion). The trade with Germany also saw a deficit of EUR 1.17 billion whereas the trade deficit with Holland totaled EUR 904.4 million.
