26 September 2011

A touristic mini-harbor has been recently inaugurated in Sfantu Gheorghe, in Romania's Danube Delta, following investments of EUR 7.8 million mostly coming from Romania's Tourism Ministry. The mini-harbor can cater to 108 small boats and 15 larger boats in four basins. A boat parking for the winter has also been included in the project.

Sfantu Gheorghe is the place where the Danube flows into the Black Sea. It is also the home of the Anonimul Film Festival that takes place in Sfantu Gheorghe every summer.
