Romania is interested in the development of a bi-regional partnership between the European Union and Latin America, said president Klaus Iohannis.

He takes part today in the summit of the European Union and the Latin American States organized in Brussels.

“Latin American and the Caribbean represent a stable political region, but also a net contributor to the global economic growth,” said Iohannis.

The states that take part in the summit will adopt a Political Declaration and a Declaration on Dialogue and Sectoral Cooperation.
