Ten Romanian companies have been included in the “1000 Companies to Inspire Europe” report by the London Stock Exchange Group, which focuses on the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK and Europe.

The report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the British and European economies.

The ten Romanian companies are Annabella (active in the retail sector), Aramis Group (consumer services), B&B Collection (retail), Dobrogea Grup (food & drink), Fox Com Serv (food & drink), Group Serban (agriculture/farming/forestry), InterTransCom SRL (wholesale), Promat Comimpex SRL (agriculture/farming/forestry), Romaqua Group Borsec (food & drink), SC Dinaia SRL (food & drink).

The only Romanian company that remained on the list from last year’s edition is B&B Collection, according to local Profit.ro. The company is an official importer and authorized distributor on the Romanian market of more than 100 international brands of watches and jewelery.

The number of Romanian companies included in the London Stock Exchange report is similar to that in Hungary and the Czech Republic. Neighboring Bulgaria has five companies in the report.

Romania and Hungary lay claim to the fastest-growing companies on average, while German firms hold the most patents and trademarks, the report shows.
