Romania and Moldova plan to develop joint wine routes
Romania and neighbouring Republic of Moldova will develop two joint tourist routes, which will include attractions in both countries, Romanian tourism minister Bogdan Trif announced on Friday, May 11.
One will be a wine route that will include some of the best-known wineries in Romania and Moldova and will try to promote local wines to tourists from China, Japan and other Asian and European markets, local News.ro reported.
The other one is a historic and cultural route that will include landmarks related to Moldovan prince Stephen the Great (Stefan cel Mare). This route will include the fortresses of Suceava and Neamt, the Putna Monastery and the Culture Palace in Iasi, in Romania.
