Romania looks promising for US investors with a talented workforce and attention to business innovation, said LF Payne, chairman of McGuireWoods Consulting.

“You have the highest GDP growth in the EU, namely 7% in the first nine months of 2017,” he added.

Romania facilitates US companies' access to the EU market, Hans Klemm, the US ambassador to Romania, said. Romania has a large internal market and low operating costs compared to other states in the region, he added.

“We’ve recently hosted TradeWinds’ largest trade mission ever organized by the United States Department of Commerce,” the ambassador said.

McGuireWoods Consulting provides advice on governmental and business development at international level. The company has been operating in Romania for ten years serving more than 130 clients in this period. Some of its biggest clients include Ford and Smithfield.
