Romania ranks 10th in EU on July industrial production growth

Romania reported in July the 10thindustrial production growth in the EU compared with June, with an increase of 1.2 percent, according to Eurostat. EU reported an advance of 1.1 percent in July compared to the previous month, while the countries in the euro zone had an increase of 1 percent.

The biggest industrial production increases in July compared to June, 2011, were recorded in Estonia, with a 4.7 percent growth, Germany and Greece, both with 4.1 percent growth, while the biggest decreases were reported in Slovakia, which reported a drop of 3.4 percent and Portugal with a 3 percent decrease.

Compared to July, 2010, Romania reported in the same month this year an increase of 4.4, ranking 9th in the EU percent on the industrial production advance. In the euro zone the advance was 4.2 percent in July 2011 compared to the same month last year, why in the EU the growth was 3.6 percent, according to Eurostat.
