Romania ranks 55th for attracting valuable employees

Romania ranks 55th out of 118 countries surveyed in terms of efficiency for attracting and retaining valuable employees, according to a survey by recruitment company Adecco.

Romania ranks behind countries such as Bulgaria, Montenegro, and Croatia.

The study Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) is conducted annually and measures how countries cultivate, attract and retain candidates.

Switzerland and Singapore occupy the top spots in the ranking, Britain and the United States rank third and fourth, and four Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway) are also in top 10.

Romania is also behind by Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Panama and Mauritius, but surpasses countries like Russia, Kuwait, Oman, Serbia, Turkey, Argentina, and Ukraine.
