Romania, ready to sell Serbia more electricity, coal this winter
Romania is ready to supply electricity and coal for Serbia “for the best possible prices”, in case SErboa will face an energy crisis during winter, said Serbian Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic, quoted by Serbian media.
The Serbian met his Romanian counterpart Răzvan Eugen Nicolescu this week, and discussed increasing electricity deliveries to Serbia in winter.
They also talked about creating a trans-Balkan system for electricity transport, developed by Serbian state company Elektromreze Srbije, with Romanian partners and with other partners in the region. An analysis will be undertaken about the possibility to build an oil pipe between the ports of Constanta and Pancevo.
