Romania sends 200 projects worth EUR 62.5 bln for Juncker investment plan
Romania has sent the European Commission (EC) a list of over 200 projects, worth EUR 62.5 billion, to be funded under the new investment plan initiated by the European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, for 2015-2017.
The biggest project, exceeding EUR 7 billion, concerns building highways, such as the Iasi-Bors highway or the Constanta-Nadlac highway, reports local Hotnews.ro.
Romania's proposals also include the construction of the seventh subway line in Bucharest on the Voluntari-Bragadiru route.
The European Commission has received about 2,000 proposals from the 28 EU member states, which require EUR 500 billion investments, of which EUR 62.5 billion correspond to the projects submitted by Romania.
