Romania starts procedures to include Peles Castle on UNESCO list along with Bavarian castles

The Peles Castle in the Sinaia mountain resort, Romania could be included on the UNESCO heritage list, along with the Bavaria castles. The Romanian Culture Ministry has started the procedures to have the Romanian castle included on the prestigious world heritage list. According to Romanian Culture Minister Kelemen Hunor, Romania will not be able to have a single category for the Peles Castle, so it has started talks with the German culture minister to have the Romanian castle listed along with the ones in Bavaria. Germany is also trying to list the royal castles in Bavaria on the UNESCO list.
