Romania starts tourism promotion campaign on CNN, Euronews, Eurosport
Romania's Tourism Ministry has started to promote the country's tourism brand with commercials on CNN, Euronews and Eurosport TV channels, which will be aired over the next 12 months. The promotional campaign is worth EUR 5 million, all from non-reimbursable European funds. Romania has bought the advertising space on the three TV channels through Media Investment Communications firm, which has won the bid.
The commercials which will be aired on CNN, Eurosport and Euronews aim at improving Romania's image as a tourist destination, underlying Romania's values, its resources and its unspoiled nature, the cultural heritage and the country's authenticity, according to a statement from the Romanian Tourism Ministry.
