Romania switches to daylight saving time
Romania will switch to daylight saving time on Sunday, March 29, when clocks will advance one hour and 3:00 and will become 4:00.
Sunday will thus be the shortest day of the year, with 23 hours instead of 24.
After the hour change, the difference between Romania and the official Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) will be of three hours.
Romania’s railways company CFR Calatori announced that this change will not trigger modifications in the trains’ schedule.
The daylight saving time is valid between the last Sunday in March and the last Sunday in October, when 4.00 will become 3.00.
