Romania switches to summer time this weekend
Sunday, March 27, will be the shortest day of the year as Romania will switch to daylight saving time. The clocks will advance one hour in the night between March 26 and March 27, 3:00 becoming 4:00.
This change might affect people’s biological clock. It might take some time until people get used to the fact that they have to wake up an hour earlier, but usually not more than a week.
The daylight saving time is valid between the last Sunday in March and the last Sunday in October, when 4.00 will become 3.00.
After the hour change, the difference between Romania and the official Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) will be of three hours.
