Romania could eliminate stamps
The Romanian state has promised companies and individuals would no longer need stamps starting July 1, according to business people quoted by local media.
Meanwhile, however, Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici says that companies will no longer be required to have various official papers stamped by the fiscal authorities, without guarantees that all public institutions would eliminate stamps.
Authorities however failed to explain whether the measure would apply to all areas where stamps are currently used, or only at fiscal authorities.
