Romania to pay EUR 760,000 for management of country brand campaign
Romania's Tourism Ministry will award a EUR 759,000 contract for the management of the country's brand campaign over the next three years. The Ministry has started the procedures to choose a company that will create, develop and implement yearly marketing plans for Romania's tourism brand and for its tourism products. It will also coordinate the country's advertising campaigns.
The winner must offer the lowest price and show that it has experience in a similar project with a value of at least EUR 10 million. The winning company would send a delegate manager and a marketing team to the tourism ministry during the project. The management contract will be funded from non-reimbursable European funds.
Romania created its country brand last summer and launched its new slogan, 'Explore the Carpathian Garden', following a EUR 900,000 contract with THR Asesores en Turismo, Hoteliere e Recreation and Taylor Nelson Sofres.
