The "Platinum Lynx" training module of the multinational exercise "Black Sea Rotational Force 14" (BSRF-14) will be conducted at Rotunda firing range in Vatra Dornei garrison between May 5 and May 16, according to the Romanian Ministry of National Defense.

Romania’s 17th Mountain Troops of Vatra Dornei and US Marines will conduct firing, tactical field exercises, first aid maneuvers in an area of operations and alpine training.

BSRF-14 is an annual exercise, conducted by US Marine Forces Europe in the Black Sea, Balkans and Caucasus region. Its goal is to increase interoperability by training troops for peacekeeping and counter-insurgency operations.
The exercise was planned one year before as part of the main activities of the General Staff, according to the Romanian ministry.
