Romanian Angela Cretu, named head of Avon Russia
Romanian Angela Cretu, vice-president of cosmetics company Avon, has been recently also named general manager of the company's Russian subsidiary and will move from the headquarters in New York to Moscow.
Cretu, who has been working with Avon since 1999, was previously general manager of Avon Romania, having been promoted to lead operations in ten south – eastern European countries. Direct selling company Avon is currently in a reorganization process. The company's net profit went down by 3 percent last year, to USD 606.3 million.
