Romanian Apple reseller opens largest South East European store in Bucharest
Romanian retailer iStyle Bucharest will open Apple's largest store in South East Europe this week in Bucharest, within Baneasa Shopping City. The store in Bucharest will cover 260 sqm, our of which 160 sqm dedicated to retail areas. A special area for trainings and presentations will also be set up in the store, which required investments of EUR 0.25 million. The store will open on Friday, March 30.
“The size of the store will allow us to sell the biggest array of Apple products in Romania, with over 7,000 different items,” said Dora Anca Popeneciu, general manager of iStyle Bucharest. The company runs four other stores, three of which in Bucharest and one in Cluj, and plans to open two more in the coming 12 months, in either Iasi, Timisoara, Constanta or Cluj.
iStyle Bucharest, which has been an Apple premium reseller in Romania for the last ten years, spoted EUR 6.2 million in sales last year, up 27 percent on the year before, and hopes to increase tunrover by 15 percent this year.
