Romanian Banca Transilvania trains employees on EUR 0.4 mln EU co-funded program

Romanian Banca lender Transilvania carried out an 18-month training program for about 750 employees, according to the bank. About EUR 400,000 were invested in the ‘Training continues for the employees in the banking field ADAPTIBA-TEAM’, a program co-financed by the European Social Fund through the 2007-2013 Human Resources Development Operational Program.

“This program, developed from European funds, came in addition to the internal development programs and provided our bank’s employees the opportunity to continue training,” said Nevenca Doca, Banca Transilvania’s Executive Director of Human Resources.

The bank’s profit stood at EUR 25.3 million in the first nine months of this year, up 53 percent on the same period of last year, while the gross profit was EUR 34 million, higher than at the end of September 2010.
