Romanian IT group Bitdefender will hire 40 people in international sales and marketing by the end of the year. In 2014, the sales team more than doubled - up by 150%.

The company will organize this week a summit in Bucharest where 230 partners and employees from 35 countries will take part.

“The summit allows the new colleagues and business partners to reunite,” said Mihai Guran, sales director regional operations with Bitdefender, cited by local Wall-street.ro.

In 2014, the company doubled its sales on the enterprise segment, namely sales to big companies. This year Bitdefender hopes to double sales on this segment again.

The company recorded the most significant increases last year in the United States, Britain, and the Nordic countries.
