Romanian bookstore chain sees school product sales up by a quarter
Romanian bookstore chain Diverta increased school product sales by 25% in this year’s Back to School season, compared to the same period in 2013. The company doubles sales in August, compared to the same month the year before, maintaining the upward trend, according to Diverta.
Schoolbags were the best sold items, together with backpacks, suitcases and trolley bags, with a share of 40% of total school product sales followed by writing instruments – 15%, pencil cases – 11% and notebooks – 10%.
