Romanian building material producer Duraziv ups H1 revenues
Building material producer Duraziv, owned by Romanian entrepreneur Daniel Guzu, upped its total sales by 10 percent in the first half of this year.
The most dynamic evolution was recorded by the finishing products - paints and plasters. If this trend continues, this division is expected to generate a third of the turnover at the end of the year, according to the company.
The company’s investments this year contributed to a nearly 37 percent increase in sales of paints and plasters in the first half of the year. Decorative plasters were the most performant products in this division, with an increase of 40 percent. Adhesive sales also increased by 21 percent in the same period.
The paint division now has a share of 20 percent in the company's turnover, while the adhesives slightly exceeded 35 percent, following the upward trend of the previous years.
Duraziv is active on the construction market since 2003, when it was established under the initial name of Bau Profil. The company’s adhesives division was opened after a EUR 8.5 million investment in a factory located in the Romanian city of Popesti Leordeni.
In 2013, the company had a turnover of some EUR 17 million.
