Romanian-Bulgarian spa holiday packages starting next year
Romania and Bulgaria will offer joint spa holiday packages from January 1, 2016. The project is part of the Roman Thermal Spas of Europe project funded with European money, reports Bulgarian publication Novinite.com.
These joint packages will be available for online booking and will offer tourists the chance to stay in two spa resorts – one in Romania and one in Bulgaria.
The package will cover a total of eight days. Tourists will spend the first couple of days in Romania’s Baile Herculane spa resort. Next, they will visit Bulgaria’s Sofia and Varshets cities, while the accommodation will be in Hisarya spa resort. The package also includes a trip to the 2019 European Capital of Culture Plovdiv and visit of its ancient Roman remains.
