Romanian Central Bank to open museum after restoration works
The Romanian Central Bank (BNR) headquarters, located in the old part of Bucharest, the Lipscani area, will host a museum after the end of ongoing restoration works. The BNR palace, which was built in 1880, will organize a museum in the hall, which was initially meant for hosting those who were there for bank operations.
This is the Central bank's effort to support the development of the population's financial culture, according to BNR governor Mugur Isarescu.
