A Romanian cocaine dealer is one of the 266 most wanted by Interpol, part of a global operation started by the international police in 46 countries. The 46-year old man called Emil Dan Sârbu has been on the international most wanted list since 2006.

He should serve 13 years in jail for international drug trafficking in South America and Romania.

Interpol's recent move is part of the program called Operation Infra (International Fugitive Round Up and Arrest) Americas. Members of the public are now being asked to provide information to help locate 15 individuals.

These fugitives, including the Romanian, are believed to be hiding out in Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela or the Caribbean. The list of fugitives also includes Rafael Caro-Quintero the former leader of the Guadalajara Cartel in Mexico.
