Romanian companies, individuals can now pay taxes and fees to ANAF online
Romanian taxpayers, both individuals and companies, are able to pay online their taxes and fees to the tax authority ANAF via the online payment system called Ghiseul.ro starting Wednesday, December 14.
Taxpayers can now pay online the income tax on wages and revenues from the use of goods, dividends, awards or from intellectual property rights, said the Communications Ministry representatives yesterday. The social contributions, as well as judicial fines can also be paid on Ghiseul.ro.
For paying their contributions to ANAF, taxpayers will need to create a personal account. They will choose the “I want an account” section that will generate online the personal account based on their ID and a credit card issued on the person’s name. The card must be enrolled in the 3D Secure system.
ANAF will present on Ghiseul.ro only the tax obligations of individuals and self-employed persons.
Reducing bureaucracy has been one of the main priorities of the current technocrat government, which is at the end of its mandate.
