Romanian cosmetics producer Cosmetic Plant targets higher exports this year and expands on the Hungarian market, according to a statement of the company.

“One of our company’s main goals for 2014 is to increase exports. Thus, one of the strategic decisions was the expansion on the Hungarian market,” said Susana Laszlo, general manager Cosmetic Plant.

Hungary now joins the other eight markets where the company exports its products, namely Canada, Greece, Italy, Germany, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates,Azerbaijan and Austria.

A total of 17 of the company’s products are already available on the Hungarian market.

Cosmetic Plant was established in 1991 in Cluj-Napoca and its portfolio currently includes 92 products. Last year, the company registered a turnover of EUR 1.6 million.
