Romanian car maker Dacia released the first official photos of its upcoming model Lodgy, which will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, Switzerland, in March 2012. Lodgy will be a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) available with either five or seven seats, suitable for families. Dacia wants to target buyers who used to buy second-hand cars.

The car's name, Lodgy, stemming from the English word ‘lodge’, refers to the model’s ability to accommodate a family and its luggage, according to Dacia Group.

The Dacia range includes the models Logan, Sandero and Duster.
