Romanian Dacris ups turnover by 14% on higher office supplies and stationery sales

Dacris Group, which sells office supplies and stationery in Romania, posted a turnover of EUR 13.5 million in 2011, up 14 percent over the previous year, according to the company. For 2012, the company aims for a 7 percent year-on-year increase, based on doubling the capacity of the existing warehouse, diversification of the products in the children & adolescents segment, opening of four new branches in the country.

According to the company, the total amount to be invested in developing these plans will reach some EUR 0.6 million.

For the entire office supplies and stationary market in Romania, the Dacris officials estimate minor increases this year.

In 2011, the company invested about EUR 75,000 for acquiring new software and powerful scanners, in order to modernize the orders’ preparation system. In 2009, the group had about 240 employees, a number which currently increased to over 280.

Dacris Impex is present on the Romanian market for more than 17 years and specializes in importing, distribution and selling office supplies and printed products.
