Romanian Dent Estet wants EUR 0.7 mln turnover from recently launched clinic for teenagers

01 November 2012

Romanian dental clinics network Dent Estet aims at a turnover of EUR 700,000 for the first year of activity of its most recently opened clinic Dent Estet 4 Teens . The clinic hopes to serve over 2,000 patients in the next 12 months. It was opened with an investment of EUR 250,000.

“The reason we chose to open a clinic dedicated to teenagers is that in our country patients aged 10 to 17 are rarely to be found in dental surgeries, even though teenagers' dental conditions are quite complex and need a specific approach,” said Oana Taban, CEO and founder of Dent Estet.

The majority of teenagers – 90 percent – do not go to the dentists even once a year. The new cabinet will focus on orthodontics, as over half of Romanian teenagers need braces, according to Dent Estet.

Dent Estet was founded 14 years ago by doctor Oana Taban. The group includes five dental clinics, one of which for kids and one for teenagers.

In 2011, Dent Estet had a turnover of EUR 2.3 million and the company expects around EUR 2.8 million for this year.
