Romanian drug producer Biofarm ups sales by 20%
Romanian drug and supplement producer Biofarm Bucuresti increased its sales by 20% in the first nine months of 2015, to EUR 24.2 million.
The company made a net profit of EUR 4.9 million, 1% higher compared to the first three quarters of 2014.
Biofarm is controlled by local investment company SIF Muntenia. The company is currently developing a new drug factory in eastern Bucharest to move its production which is now located in a central area of the city. The investment is estimated at some EUR 13 million.
Biofarm is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and has a market capitalization of EUR 64.8 million.
