Retailer Profi Rom Food, which runs the Profi stores chain in Romania, and consumer engagement agency Wave Division will soon launch an e-coupon project, which promises to be the first of its kind in Romania. Consumers will be able to print the discount coupons from the site cuponreducere.ro and use them in the Profi stores.

The e-coupons site will be a multi-brand and multi-retailer website, and partners with Coupons.com. Profi is the first retailer to have joined the new project.

According to Wave Division, quoting recent studies, 70 percent of buyers plan their shopping sessions and follow brands online.

Profi runs 156 stores in Romania and plans to open 42 more this year.
