Romanian energy producer wants to sell at least EUR 43 mln worth of energy on local power exchange
Romanian energy company Complexul Energetic Oltenia wants to raise EUR 43.3 million to EUR 65 million by selling energy on the local power exchange OPCOM on April 24.
The company has scheduled the sale of up to 1.5 TWh of energy, which would be delivered between July this year, and December 2015, according to an announcement on OPCOM.
The price per KWh is of RON 184 excluding VAT – or EUR 40.8.
Last year, the company's production covered 20 percent of the national energy production. The producer is controlled by Romania's Economy Ministry, with 77 percent of the shares.
Complexul Energetic Oltenia was created in 2012 by merging several energy producers, including the energy compounds Turceni, Craiova and Rovinari with Societatea Nationala a Lignitului Oltenia Targu Jiu.
