Romanian entrepreneur expands to Europe with new online gadget shop

08 October 2015

Romanian gadget retailer QuickMobile, owned by Romanian entrepreneur Tudor Tiboc, recently launched a new online store, quickmobileshop.com, aiming to expand its operations to the European markets. The new shop will make deliveries to all the 28 states of the European Union, according to a company statement.

The new shop will sell more than 5,000 premium products such as phones, tablets, gadgets, and accessories. The prices are expressed in EUR and include VAT and other taxes. International couriers UPS, DHL, and TNT will be in charge of the deliveries.

QuickMobile also launched service-return.com, a platform through which clients can require service operations from any place in Europe.

Via the new platform, clients get free round-trip transportation for the goods they send to service, from any address in the 28 EU member states, and free status tracking 24/7. The platform also includes premium services for which clients have to pay, such as priority on taking the products from the authorized services and the guarantee that their problem will be solved within 5 working days.

“It was necessary for the European expansion to come together with the service operations’ outsourcing  and the launching of a platform that manages all our customers’ requests because it is a very complex process,” said Tudor Tiboc, general manager of QuickMobile.

Quickmobile.ro is one of the largest online stores in Romania that sell phones, tablets, gadgets and accessories. The shop became popular after being among the first to bring new gadgets to the local market, shortly after their international release and before their official release in Romania.

The company also runs a network of selling points located in the largest shopping centers in the country. Last year, QuickMobile registered a turnover of over EUR 45 million.
