Romanian entrepreneurs affiliate over 40 gyms to 7card membership program for corporates

05 June 2013

Benefit Seven, a company which targets corporations to offer them wellness and sports services at a network of affiliated gyms and sports centers across Bucharest, recently added five more gyms to the network, reaching over 40 locations. The company offers a card under the name 7card, which offers access to any of the affiliated gyms across Bucharest.

The latest additions to the network are LadyFIT, Planet SWIM & GYM, FitClass, Myra Sport and Rams 21 Power Gym.

Many of the gyms in the 7card network are stand alone units, owned by Romanian business people, as well as neighborhood gyms, as opposed to the international gym chains active in Romania, such as Worldclass or Pure Health & Fitness.

Benefit Seven was founded by two former business consultants, Romanian entrepreneurs Andrei Cretu and Iulian Circiumaru in 2011, and targets corporate customers, which sign contracts offering their employees access to the network of gyms.

The price of such a monthly membership is similar to a monthly access to a single gym, but instead offers access to the entire network, according to the founders.

The membership card offers access to fitness, tennis, yoga classes across the network and it has been used by companies such as BCR, BRD, British American Tobacco, Deloitte, Garanti Bank, Ikea, among others.
