Three Romanian companies have entered the Deloitte Fast 50 ranking for Central and Eastern Europe, which measures the speed of business growth. These included Trencadis, Qualtech and Tremend.

Romanian Startup UiPath received a special distinction for innovation called “Most Disruptive Innovation”. It is considered the world's fastest growing company in the field of robotic process automation solutions.

The fastest-growing Romanian company is Baia Mare-based firm Trencadis, with revenue growth of 710% in the last four years. It ranked 19th compared to 40th last year. Its aim is to optimize the solutions for the interaction between citizens and state institutions.

Timisoara-based firm Qualtech ranked 39th, with a 388% growth rate. It builds development and adaptation solutions for innovative companies and mobile software solutions.

Bucharest-based company Tremend ranked 47th, with a 324% growth rate. The firm specializes in delivering complex software solutions.

Last year, Romania had four companies in the Fast 50 Central Europe ranking, down from 10 in 2015.
