Romanian flooring distributor Piritex goes bankrupt
Romanian flooring construction materials importer and distributor Piritex has gone bankrupt, and Casa de Insolventa Transilvania was appointed judicial liquidator, according to data published on Prahova Court website.
Piritex, owned by Romanian businessman Petrica Usurelu, was founded in 1994. It is headquartered in Prahova county.
In 2010, the company had a turnover of RON 146.2 million (EUR 34.7 million), down from RON 197.1 million (some EUR 46.5 million) in 2009 and RON 270.1 million (EUR 73.3 million) in 2008, according to the data from the Ministry of Finance.
