Romanian Folk Art at the International Arts and Crafts Fair in Jerusalem

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv organizes Romania's stand at the 36th edition of Arts and Crafts Fair in Jerusalem that will take place from August 15 to 27, 2011, according to the institution.

At the Romanian stand will be presented items of folk art from Bacau County, such as Romanian traditional costumes, authentic home-made towels, ceramics, painted eggs, and many other things, all handmade.

The International Arts and Crafts Fair in Jerusalem is the largest event of its kind in Israel, getting together over 200 artists from Israel and over 60 international artists, in each edition. The event is held on an area of ​​5,000 sqm near the old town, in the tourist area.
